Food Handler Permits

Online Classroom:

The State of Utah approves online and onsite trainer-led courses. Please be aware, there are many online outlets claiming to offer Utah Food Handler cards at exhorbitant costs. Cards issued from sources not from approved provders from the State will not be accepted.

Once you have completed the online course successfuly, you will obtain a "Certificate of Completion" from the online vendor. This certificate is used in the place of the actual Food Handler Permit for a period of up to 30 days. During this period, the official permit will be processed and issued by the local health department jurisdiction where the individual resides.

El estado de Utah aprueba cursos dirigidos por capacitadores en línea y en el lugar. Tenga en cuenta que hay muchos puntos de venta en línea que afirman ofrecer tarjetas de manipulador de alimentos de Utah a costos exorbitantes. Una vez que haya completado con éxito el curso en línea, obtendrá un "Certificado de finalización" del proveedor en línea. Este certificado se utiliza en lugar del permiso de manipulador de alimentos real durante un período de hasta 30 días . Durante este período, el permiso oficial será procesado y emitido por la jurisdicción del departamento de salud local donde reside la persona.

Date & Time: 1st Thursday of the Month @ 9:00 a.m. & 3rd Thursday of the Month @ 3:00 p.m. (except holidays)

Arrive 15 minutes early to register for class. Classes begin on time, and late arrivals will not be admitted.

ONLY TESTERS ARE ALLOWED IN CLASSROOM

You must register to ensure a seat in the class. You can register online (https://webermorganhealth.appointy.com/) or call us at 801-399-7160 and someone will assist you. After registering online, please bring your payment to the Weber-Morgan Health Department on the second floor, room #200, the day of class.

Please do not bring children with you to class. The training is 75-minutes, after which the exam will be administered. A government issued Picture ID is REQUIRED.

Spanish class is held every 3^rd Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.

Debes registrarte para aseguararte un asiento en la clase. Puedes registrarte en línea (https://webermorganhealth.appointy.com/) o puede llamar al 801-399-7160 y alguien lo ayudará. Después de registrarse en línea, traiga su pago al Departamento de Salud de Weber-Morgan en la sala #200, del segundo piso, el día del clase.

Por favor, no traiga niños a clase. La clase requirida es de 75 minutos, después se administrará el examen. Se requiere identificación oficial con foto.

Las clases en español se llevan a cabo cada tercer Miércoles de cada mes a las 2:00 p.m.
